Bab ni paling awal ktrg survey dan locked contractor tp lambat siap sebabkan tiles kat dinding je. Design asal dapur rumah kami ni tiles dia just sampai suku dinding camtu. Lps tu tingkap dia jenis besar dan sampai bawah. Mmg problem ktrg gak masa tu fikir mana nk letak fridge. So masa ktrg pegi jumpa contractor ni dia mmg dh ada design utk dapur ktrg sbb ada la customer dia jiran aku. So ktrg pon follow design dia at first cuma tukar part mini bar.

But then design tu mahal lebih dari budget aku. After fikir-fikir-fikir aku rasa design tu dapur tempat nk masak sempit sangat. Dgn cabinet atas kat sinki mcm susah nk bukak nanti so aku pon tukar design. Aku buang gak tall unit sbb tall unit tu mahal dan benda tu buat sempit. Redha la x dapat nk letak oven kt situ instead tukar letak bwh.

Then timbul pulak problem yg design aku nak tu tak cover tiles. Kan design asal tiles suku kan tp aku nk buat ni nmpk la part yg x bertiles. Contractor ni x buat tiles yer. Mmg cabinet semata. Ktrg carik tiles yg sama dekat almost semua kedai kt Melaka tp xde. If ada pon, the color will be not exactly the same. So aku cakap kt Wan next plan mmg pecah je la yg ada tu then tampal baru. Masalah yg tu pulak kena order so amek masa. 2 minggu jugak ktrg nk dapat tiles tu. So if korg taknak susah payah mcm kami cari la contractor yg boleh buat semua. hehe.

So within that time nk menunggu tiles sampai, kena jalankan piping and wiring. Yg tu settle baru masuk tiles. Nasib baik kwn Wan recommend contractor yg buat rumah dia utk pasang tiles baru tu. Cepat dia buat. Dan kami puas hati. Siap je tu ktrg pon call contractor KC kami. Next week tu dia terus la pasang cabinet. Kejap je nk pasang cabinet tu. Yg table top tu kena tunggu sbb kena potong batu dulu kt kilang. Dia ckp 2-3 weeks tp x sampai seminggu pon dh siap table top.

Kami pilih cabinet type aluminium glass and granite table top including counter bar. Konsep hitam putih tp putih dia nampak mcm hijau sket tp ok je kat aku. Overall look mmg aku suka lah. Cuma ada la minor slack. Ada gap between cabinet atas dgn tiles. Dari jauh x nampak pon tp tgk dekat nampk la gap tu. Biasa lah bila yg buat tu asing maka terjadi la hal sebegini. Silap ktrg gak kot x amek ukuran tu betul2. Tp takpela redha. But actually mmg x nampak pon flaws tu.

Nampak tingkap tu. panjang ke bawah. Mmg pening tgk. Kalo sebelah sana tu muat letak fridge kami dh drag table top tu sampai abes. huhu.

Abg ngn kak ipar aku ada tanya kenapa tak tutup hood, aku ckp konon nk buat ala-ala chimney gitu.haha. Kalau tgk design kat Ikea pon mmg biar gitu je. Pengaruh Ikea byk nih. hehe. Lgpon ceiling dapur kami jenis tinggi. Mmg takkan lah nk buat plaster ceiling ke apa. Kami suka lagi begini nampak dapur lg luas. :)
Bhgn kt sinki tu nampak kosongkan. Design asal kt situ dia letak cabinet tp kt hood xde cabinet. Aku tukar sbb aku ingt nnt nk letak steel rack kt situ. So boleh sangkut periuk ke senduk ke. Bab dapur ni mmg Wan serahkan kat aku. Well actually semua pon dia bg aku decide. Dia just bg pendapat dia ok ke tak bila aku dh pilih. hehe.

Sebenarnya aku berangan nk letak island tp org tu terus kata x muat. Nnt sempit. Fine. Dpt counter bar pon jadi lah. Jgn tanya kenapa xnk extend dapo. Kalau duit berkepok mmg dah lama kami extend sampai habis. But itu nantilah. Kami buat ikot budget yg ada dulu. :)
And now, this is the place where i love most in our home. Setiap kali balik on weekend mula la lap sana sini. Haha.

Steel rack tu patut ke bawah sket tp masa laki aku pasang aku takde so tu yg tinggi semacam. hihi. Byk barang kat rumah kami beli kt SSF/Ikea. Alas counter bar tu pon beli kt SSF.

Aku recommend contractor ni, senang deal dgn dia. Tak sombong pon. Hong Sen Aluminium.
Total cost just for kitchen cabinet exclude all the appliances,tiles,piping and wiring RM11000.

Breastfeeding journey with Safiyya

Alhamdulillah niat nk susukan anak smp umur dia cukup 2 tahun tu tercapai. Syukur. Eventho bukanlah secara exclusively tp dapat jugak bg anak susu badan. Start je Safiyya setahun 5 bulan i've stop milk pumping sbb Safiyya dh xnak ebm. Until now ada lg 6 bottles dlm freezer. Nak kena buang dh tu. Expired. Masa tu jugak lah Safiyya dh start mix formula milk waktu siang. Malam fully bf. We gave her susu ilham. Dia serasi dan suka susu tu.

Bila i started to get pregnant again masa tu Safiyya setahun 8 bulan and dpt pulak all day long sickness plus x boleh bau Safiyya, dia mmg kena fully minum fm. Nasib baik dh ajar sebelom tu. So x susah sgt cuma dia still nak direct feed. Masa tu sedih sgt tgk Safiyya. Nk menyusu kat mommy tp mommy x leh nk bg. Time ni pon dh x rasa bengkak susu lg. Bila dia nak sgt tu bg la. Husband dah suruh wean off sbb few docs and our gynae advised to stop. Early pregnancy mcm high risk sket nk gugur if still on bf. Lgpon kesian anak kalo yg jenis fully bf tu mmg dh x dpt cukup nutriens. Tp i refused sbb dh janji nk susukan anak smp dia 2 tahun. Mmg berdoa dipermudahkan. I tried put on a little bit asam jawa tp xde kesan. But amazingly after that Safiyya terus x heran sgt dah nk bf. Sehari sekali pon dia ok bf janji dapat mengopek. Until now cmtu. Kadang2 dia mengamok jugak lah nak mengopek tgh mlm. Bila dah sihat ni mmg bg je la tp suddenly nipple mcm crack. Pedih giler. Lgpon time pregnant ni kan sensitif sket. Sampai kena marah Safiyya sbb x tahan bila dia df. Dan skrg dia faham bila mommy cakap tak boleh,sakit. Nnt dia x mintak dah. Terus mintak susu botol.

Begitulah ceritanya. Skrg ni mmg dh kurang bf. If dia nk sgt bg je la. Hehe. Mmg niat nk susukan dia cukup 2 tahun je xmo lebih sbb kesian adik pulak. Hope i can continue this journey with her adik pulak. Selagi boleh bf kita teruskan. Aaminn.

Things happened

September not yet come to an end but so many things had happened this month. My money plus Safiyya's duit raya has been stolen. I wonder till now how can the thief pulled my handbag from far thru the grilled window. But lucky me he did not take my IC, bank card and car key. Ayah said maybe drug addict. Benda nak jadi. I always keep my handbag in the bedroom but that night i left it in the living room on the sofa. Huhu. Takpelah redha. I might have missed something in life.

In the same week 12th Sept, we did a small kenduri solat jemaah and baca surah al-baqarah at our new home in Melaka. Our nest is actually not 100% complete yet but as we already stay there every weekend i told hubs we must do this kenduri. Rumah baru kan. So we only invite ayah's few friends, my family, cousin, in laws and neighbors. Hubs ordered nasi briyani Pokok Mangga and i made fruit cocktail as dessert. Alhamdulillah it went well. Foods pon cukup and sedap.
Later after that, we celebrate Safiyya's 2nd birthday. Simple celebration with a small cake. I asked hubs to buy a happy birthday balloons. Not in the picture btw. Funny part, Safiyya scared when all of us started to sing a birthday song. Terus nk masuk buai tido. Hahaha.

The next day, hubs planned for a BBQ night as a birthday celebration for yours truly. 3 years married and he finally did something on my birthday and i don't even ask him to do so. It's a quite surprise eventho he planned in front of me. Bhahaha. I'm so grateful that my family and parent in law doing all the preparations. Biasalah pregnant lady bukan larat sgt. I just made a coleslaw because i want too. Puas hati. Mil made a pudding castard and bihun singapore. I am so full that night. After that hubs brings out the cake. It's a BR cake with my fav flavor inside. Awwww!! Thanks so much la hubby! Love you! It's just a small cake as hubs ordered the cake a day before. Never mind. Everyone still got a chance to taste the cake. Hehe.

Last week during public holiday, parent in law came to our house to help us organizing Safiyya's playroom,wedding gift and kitchen cabinets. They even bought us 3 new carpets as a gift. Rezeki. Thank you mak and abah! There are still so many things to do for our new house especially living hall and master bedroom. Safiyya's playroom and guest room almost completed. Just need to buy a wardrobes. We currently sleep in the guest room. Malas nk naik atas during pregnancy ni. Penat naik tangga. We hope can settle everything by next year. Aaminn. Ok la i think that's all for now. Till then, daa!
